Simply Loved is a nonprofit founded in memory of Ema Cardenas to support and empower middle and high school girls—especially first-generation, immigrant, and underserved youth. We believe every young woman deserves to feel seen, supported, and simply loved.
Our Core Initiatives Ema’s Closet – A mobile clothing closet offering new and gently used clothing, hygiene essentials, and confidence-boosting care to girls in need. Read to Rise – A literacy and mentorship program helping newcomer and first-gen students build reading skills and a love for learning. Education Empowerment – Support for navigating school systems, academic goal setting, and planning for life after graduation. Mental Health Matters resources and peer-focused events to promote self-worth, healing, and emotional resilience. Together, we're creating a community where every girl knows she matters.
